Nightly Traffic Bollard Removal Contract
Sparks Street - Lyon Street to Elgin Street
The Sparks Street Mall Authority (SSMA) is seeking proposals for the delivery of Site and Traffic Bollard Maintenance Services for a three (3) year period beginning April 15, 2026, on built facilities and assets as described in this RFP.
The scope of work will include the daily removal and reinstatement of traffic management bollards, as well as general maintenance of roadways, site furniture, and related assets within the Sparks Street corridor. The SSMA will continue to provide planning and overall management of the pedestrian promenade of this important area within the City of Ottawa.
The SSMA is seeking maintenance management services with the objective of supporting high standards of service excellence at the best cost. The SSMA believes that this proposal call will result in a successful contract award; however, in the event that proposals submitted do not meet these basic objectives, the SSMA will not proceed with contract award and will implement alternative service delivery approaches.
