Due to the postponement of Poutinefest on Sparks Street, and our current intense cravings, we’ve decided to launch an online ‘Quarantine Poutine’ photo competition! Our festival would have been taking place April 23-26, which will now be the course of the contest with a winner being drawn Monday, April 27, 2020.

 

The challenge is to use what you have to make your own great poutine at home. The poutine purists may proudly maintain that if there is anything besides fries, cheese curds, and gravy it is not poutine! We fully understand and appreciate that. Unprecedented times allows for the relaxing of the rules. Your poutine creation can be made up of anything you have. Use your ingenuity! It may have none of the usual ingredients but make it look like poutine. Experiment with flavours, shapes and arrangements. When you have created your poutine masterpiece, take a photo, hop onto Instagram and check out @sparks_street to submit your entry!
